The owner of renowned construction group SU-155 Mikhail Balakin, who controlled over 34% of NS Bank (Nezavisimy Stroitelny Bank), sold his equity stake, the lending institutions data showed. Currently, the lenders beneficial owner is its president Yury Petrov who holds directly and through several entities around 36% of the shares. The lending institutions other beneficial owners are Inga Belogurova (19.46% via Grandiss LLC) and Sergei Deryabin (19.28% through Kompaniya OLK LLC) and Lilia Danilova (18.20% via Forex LLC) who bought into the bank instead of Balakin.
Yury Petrov was born in 1960, graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University and later the All-Russian Academy of External Trade. He holds a degree in economics and is a honorable economist of the Russian Federation. He is a member of the council of the Association of Regional Banks of Russia.
He has been in banking business since 1994. He also worked at the Moscow governments bodies. He has served as NS Banks president and board chairman since 2006.
Moscow-based NS Bank currently operates five branches (in Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Ivanovo, Tula and Veliky Novgorod), and also 23 additional offices.
Based on Banki.ru data, as of March 1, 2013 the lenders net assets stood at Rub 39.92 bln (No. 104 in Russia), capital (calculated in line with CBR requirements) totaled Rub 5.62 bln, the credit portfolio amounted to Rub 14.61 bln and obligations to households equaled Rub 15.98 bln.
