Vokbank posts 90% slide in 2008 net profit

PRIME-TASS. Net profit earned by Vokbank in 2008 sank 90% y-o-y to Rub 7.36 mln, the lender said in its financial statement.

As for other indicators, pre-tax profit decreased 26.3% to Rub 20.48 mln, assets dropped 5.1% to Rub 1.39 bln and equity capital rose 4.4% to Rub 242.1 mln. Grand total fell 2.1% to Rub 1.47 bln, loans and related liabilities increased 6% to Rub 1.12 bln, raised funds dipped 7.2% to Rub 1.12 bln, including balances held on accounts of legal entities and entrepreneurs that shrank 52.5% to Rub 216 mln and cash attracted from households fell 2.4% to Rub 568.1 mln.
