MOSCOW, February 20 /PRRussia/ — The MDM Bank Board of Directors has offered to Mr. Michel Perhirin the position of the bank’s CEO, and the proposal was accepted.
Mr. Perhirin’s official appointment as chairman of the management board of the bank will take place after an approval from the Central Bank of Russia has been received.
Professional Background
Mr. Perhirin was born in 1944 and is a national of France.
He graduated from the University of Nantes with a diploma in economics.
Mr. Perhirin worked in the banking group Societe Generale from 1970 through 1996 in a number of countries: France (1970—1976), United Kingdom (1976—1983), Australia (1983—1987), Japan (1987—1991) and Spain (1991—1993). He also ran Banque Societe Generale Vostok in Moscow, Russia from 1993 through 1996. Mr. Perhirin then served as the CEO of ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria in Moscow from 1996 through 2005.
