In the fourth quarter of 2005, CENTRAL COMMERCIAL BANK (CENTRCOMBANK Moscow) boosted its capital by 280% to R3.774 million. CENTRCOMBANK is owned by a renowned financier Sergei Veremeenko who founded the INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL BANK (MEJPROMBANK), one of the largest Russian banks, in conjunction with another entrepreneur Sergei Pugachyov in the early 1990s.
