Russ-Bank-Ural’s takeover by Russ-Bank has been finalized. As news agency Banki.ru learned, relevant amendments were already made to the CBR Book for State Registration of Lending Institutions.
On January 20, 2010 the Bank of Russia issued to the merged Russ-Bank a general banking license and also a license to attract deposits and deal with precious metals. The lending institution’s charter capital now stands at Rub 1.55 bln.
“In accordance with Article 58 of the Russian Civil Code Russ-Bank, being a successor of all the rights and obligations of Russ-Bank-Ural, will bear obligations under all agreements that are in effect at the reorganized banks," the bank’s press service noted.
