On October 26, the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) terminated provisional administration at the PETROVKA bank after the Moscow Court of Arbitration declared the bank bankrupt and appointed a receiver. The bank lost its licence on June 1, 2006 because of a failure to abide by CBR rules and federal banking laws and default on payments.
