The financial consultant TROIKA DIALOG, which owns 89% of BANK BROKER (Chita), will raise the equity capital 16.8 times to R239.2 million. Bank shareholders decided at a meeting to issue 225 million shares with a R1 nominal value, in favour of TROIKA DIALOG. The placement price of additional shares will be R1.66. Thus, the bank’s equity will rise by R373.5m. As of July 1, 2007, the authorized capital of the BANK BROKER stood at R14.21m, own equity — R56.1m. According to earlier reports, TROIKA DIALOG signed a contract at the end of October to purchase the controlling stake in BANK BROKER (former name bank VTB BROKER) from the VTB group.
