Moody’s Investors Service placed Russlavbank’s long-term local and foreign currency deposit ratings of B3 on Rating Watch Negative, the international rating agency said in a press release posted on its website.
Analysts point to reputation risks associated with investigative actions taken at the bank’s head office in late April. This has already led to the outflow of customer funds, Moody’s noted.
As the media previously reported, Russlavbank VP Alexander Mironov is suspected of having organized illegal banking operations.
