Kazan-based Intechbank posts 25.5% drop in net profit

PRIME-TASS. Intechbank reported a 25.5% y-o-y decline in 9M08 net profit to Rub 73.05 mln, while pre-tax profit fell 12.6% to Rub 113.76 mln, the bank said in a statement Tuesday. Net profit slid following a rise in corporate profit tax payments and higher expenses under interest operations in Q308.

Grand total grew from Rub 6.04 bln as of January 1, 2008 to Rub 7.44 bln as of October 1, capital dropped from Rub 851.8 mln to Rub 819.4 mln, net loans due rose from Rub 4.25 bln to Rub 4.39 bln, funds attracted increased from Rub 4.36 bln to Rub 4.68 bln, including private deposits from Rub 1.40 bln to Rub 1.94 bln.
