Surgut-based Akkobank posts a 40% slide in 9M08 <nobr>pre-tax</nobr> profit

PRIME-TASS. Akkobank reported a decline in its pre-tax profit to Rub 27.98 mln in January-September vs. Rub 40.38 mln as of October 1, 2007, the bank said in a statement. As of October 1, 2008 the bank’s assets were equal to Rub 2.33 bln against Rub 2.95 bln as of January 1 and capital amounted to Rub 446.01 mln.

As of October 1, 2008 the bank’s funds reached Rub 207.38 mln, money held with CBR totaled Rub 32.62 mln, mandatory reserves equaled Rub 11.29 mln, funds held with lending institutions came to Rub 82.71 mln, net loans due reached Rub 1.52 bln, net investments in securities held to maturity were equal to Rub 37.03 mln, funds of non-lending institutions’ clients totaled Rub 1.80 mln and private deposits amounted to Rub 792.77 mln.
