PRIME-TASS. Bank Zenit increased its interest in the charter capital of Spiritbank from 19.99% to 83.4%, Bank Zenit said in a press release. Also, the bank increased the portion of common shares from 22.19% to 85.68%. Bank Zenit began to pick up stocks of the Tula-based lending institution in late October.
Bank Zenit was incorporated in December 1994 by the Academy of the National Economy attached to the Russian government, oil company Tatneft (the largest beneficial owner) and a number of other legal entities.
