PRIME-TASS. Balance sheet profit generated by Lipetskcombank, part of banking group Zenit, came to Rub 229.6 mln in 2008, the bank said in a statement. Last year capital increased 17% and reached Rub 1.47 bln as of January 1, 2009, while working assets jumped 19.7% to Rub 14.35 bln.
As of January 1, 2009 credits granted to legal entities and households reached Rub 10.89 bln (a 4.8% increase), including Rub 9.58 bln lent to corporate clients (+3.5%) and Rub 1.30 bln granted to households (+16%). Securities investments amounted to Rub 907 mln, skyrocketing 89% YTD, whereas funds held on settlement and current accounts of its clients amounted to Rub 3.14 bln, household funds grew 7.2% to Rub 5.71 bln, including a 15.5% spike in funds provided under deposit agreements and attracted from households (Rub 4.24 bln).
