PRIME-TASS. Equity capital at Yarsotsbank, No. 1 lender in the Yaroslavl region, climbed by 22.2% to Rub 606.72 mln in 2008, the bank’s press service reported. The value of assets maintained on the bank’s balance sheet rose 5.7% to Rub 7.26 bln, funds attracted declined 22.1% to Rub 4.55 bln and household funds jumped 22.6% to Rub 2.93 bln. In addition, during the financial and economic crisis in September-December 2008 the lender’s equity capital dropped 1.6%, assets declined 12.4%, funds attracted dove 24.5% and funds of private clients decreased 26.3% against October 1, 2008.
