Lipetskcombank’s capital jumps 4% to Rub 1.53 bln in January

PRIME-TASS. Capital at Lipetskcombank, part of banking group Zenit, grew 4% y-o-y to Rub 1.52 bln in January 2009, the lending institution reported Friday. Working assets have increased 5% YTD to Rub 15.07 bln and the credit portfolio rose 2.4% to Rub 11.21 bln. As of February 1, 2009 the lender’s balance sheet profit amounted to Rub 100.9 mln and grand total equaled Rub 20.74 bln.

As of February 1, 2009 loans issued to legal entities and individuals reached Rub 10.70 bln, including 9.43 bln lent to corporate clients and Rub 1.27 bln given to households. Investments in securities came to Rub 879 mln. Funds held on settlement, current accounts of the bank’s clients grew 2.7% to Rub 3.23 bln and resources of households reached Rub 5.18 bln, including Rub 4.15 bln in household deposits.

Since June 2007 Bank Zenit (98.998%) has been Lipetskcombank’s major shareholder.
