VTB Bank is 100% ready to merge with VTB 24, VTB Bank management board member Vladimir Verkhoshinsky claimed at a press conference devoted to the bank's retail business performance in 2016.
"It can be said that VTB Bank's retail business is now completed integrated and is ready for the merger with VTB 24," Verkhoshinsky said.
According to the bank's data, while optimizing its network VTB Bank suspended operations in 11 regions, wiring Rub 19 bln to VTB 24's credit portfolio.
To remind, VTB CEO Andrey Kostin previously said that the bank is planned to merge with VTB 24 until end 2017.
