PRIME-TASS. As Metallurgical Commercial Bank said in a statement, the value of its assets declined 10.3% to Rub 22.22 bln in January-June 2009.
At the same time, the value of the lending institution’s assets soared by 40.2% in Q209 against the January-March quarter of 2009. A sharp rise in the lending institution’s assets in Q209 stemmed from an increase in funds deposited with the Bank of Russia and other lending institutions, an increment in the securities portfolio and credits granted to legal entities.
