Investment Republican Bank (Inresbank) and Contrast-Bank are going to merge. A decision to this effect was adopted by executives of banking holding Republican Financial Corporation, which comprises both banks. The holdings owners are Alexander Malczewski (70%) and Viktor Yanin (30%).
The merger will result in the formation of a large financial institution specialized in corporate activities, investment and financial market services.
The deal will enhance Contrast-Banks efficiency, while the consolidation of the lending institutions capitals and business resources under the Inresbank brand will offer benefits for business processes and for the clientele. The merged bank will enjoy a much higher capital adequacy ratio, it will become more stable, transparent, flexible and manageable. The lending limit per borrower will increase as well.
