PRIME-TASS. Ukhtabank, based in the town of Ukhta (Republic of Komi) managed to raise its net assets from Rub 6.89 bln to Rub 7.16 bln in January-March 2009, the lending institutions press service reported. The portfolio of credit facilities granted to enterprises from real sectors of the national economy and entrepreneurs declined 22.5% to Rub 1.52 bln and net debt of households jumped 10.9% to Rub 1.26 bln.
Financial resources attracted from legal entities to settlement accounts and deposits increased 8.9% to Rub 1.85 bln in Q109, whereas private deposits opened grew 2.1% to Rub 3.90 bln. As of April 1, 2009 valid plastic cards issued by bank totaled 69,515. Balances of funds held on bank card accounts rose 3.9%, reaching Rub 986.6 mln as of April 1, 2009.
As the news agency reported earlier, Ukhtabank’s Q109 net profit sank 3.6 times to Rub 21.94 mln.
