INKASBANK Allowed to Issue MASTERCARDs

The St. Petersburg INKASBANK has finalized a certification procedure in the MASTERCARD INTERNATIONAL system. The bank was thus allowed to issue Mastercards and perform card acquiring transactions. The bank plans to begin issuing the cards as soon as this year. In May 2004, INKASBANK was granted the Interim Affiliate Member status in the system.
