RIA NOVOSTI. The Federal Ant-Trust Service (FAS) satisfied a request submitted by Transcreditbank on the takeover of four subsidiary banks, FAS said in a statement. At issue are Bank South-East (Voronezh), Metracombank (Rostov-on-Don), Superbank (Amur region, Blagoveshchensk) and Chitapromstroybank (Chita).
Transcreditbank was established in 1992 and is currently a Top 30 bank in the Russian Federation. The lender’s beneficial owners are Russian Railways Company (55%) and private pension fund Blagosostoyanie (20%).
