AIG Bank (Rus) has been renamed in Banque PSA Finance Rus. As web portal banki.ru learned, the Bank of Russia re-issued a license for the subsidiary bank of US insurer American International Group (AIG) after the sale of a 98% stake in AIG Bank (Rus) to Banque PSA Finance SA, a subsidiary of French automotive group PSA Peugeot Citroen.
Banque PSA Finance Rus (registration #3481) obtained a banking license to deal with funds denominated in rubles and foreign currencies (without the right to attract private deposits). At present, the lending institution is not a member of the national deposit insurance system. The lending institution’s charter capital is equal to Rub 200 mln.
