During an online conference Alfa-Bank executives said operations in the Urals region rank second after Moscow.
Alfa-Bank COO Valery Novikov said explosive growth of the clientele stems fr om the acquisition of Severnaya Kazna.
In turn Mikhail Povaly, Alfa-Banks director for development of regional corporate business, said that one of the main tasks in the period of clientele shift was to define needs of Severnaya Kazna clients that came under the wing of Alfa-Bank. “Alfa-Banks lending policy covers both big enterprises and SMEs. Clients in the Urals region are offered a wide range of individual programs depending on sectors of operations and business size. We are prepared to lend reliable clients and lending terms depend on their financial standing, business stability and collateral," he added.
Severnaya Kaznas deputy management board chairman Roman Vitkovsky noted the purchase of the large regional retail bank in the Urals, where households were the primary asset, underscores Alfa-Banks plans to roll out retail business in the Urals region. “The effect from the merger of the lenders — a flow of new customers that were not clients of Alfa-Bank or Severnaya Kazna — shows the strategy chosen has hit the mark," the executive emphasized.
