PRIME-TASS. Nomos-Bank took a decision to pull out of Bank Petrovsky (Saint Petersburg), Nomos-Bank CEO Dmitry Sokolov said, Prime-TASS reported.
“The bank was made an offer and we accepted it,“ he said noting the decision was adopted just several hours ago today. Further actions will require CBR approval. Nomos-Bank is prepared to assign its interest in Bank Petrovsky to Otkritie Financial Corporation along with a credit provided by the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) to rehabilitate Bank Petrovsky. “If the deal goes through, well assign the stake to Otkritie FC and it is logical that the corporation will assume the obligations (under the credit — editorial note),” Sokolov specified.
