MOSCOW, August 9 /PRRussia/ — The Migom money transfer system, controlled by the European Trust Bank, now has 3,000 agent network centres. In 2005, the Migom network had 1,800 money transfer centres in Russia and within the CIS. From January through July 2006, the system raised the number of its transaction by 150% year-on-year to $1.2 million and overall turnover by nearly 200% to $750m. The Migom money transfer system currently encompasses practically the entire former Soviet Union, remitting both Russian roubles and US dollars. Belarusian roubles can be remitted inside Belarus. Migom is among the top five national money transfer systems.
