PRIME-TASS. By the banks 20th anniversary (December 14, 2010) Omsk-Bank shareholders decided to change its corporate name to Plus Bank, the banks representatives told Prime-TASS.
This decision was adopted in accordance with the banks development strategy, as its operations expanded nationwide. With the new corporate name and the brand, the bank intends to gain considerable advantages when promoting its services in various Russian regions. Currently the bank operates branches in Tyumen and Moscow.
Upon completion of statutory procedures the lenders corporate name will officially change in the near future.
The bank was one of the first commercial banks in Russia. Omsk-Bank was registered by the Bank of Russia in December 1990 as Bank Omsky. At present, the lending institution operates on the basis of CBR License dated November 26, 1999.
