DnB NOR Monchebank, based in Murmansk, officially changed its corporate name to DNB Bank, and also its logo, starting March 19, the bank said in an official press release.
This is the first stage of the rebranding campaign that the bank executes as part of the parent banks rebranding (Norwegian financial group DNB with operations in 19 countries changed its corporate name (DnB NOR) in November 2011).
The unified brand of the Norwegian groups banks “is designed to create the corporate culture of customer service and ensure that services are provided in all countries under the unified standards," the Russian subsidiary emphasized in a press release.
The renaming procedure will not entail any changes in the lending institutions rights or obligations to its customers or changes in the range of services offered. All agreements that were previously signed with the bank remain effective. The banks banking details will also remain unchanged. Only the banks corporate name will change in its particulars. The bank will be available at the same phone numbers and locations.
“Our bank pursues ambitious targets. Our customers will see an expansion and improvement of the product mix in the corporate and retail segments, and also the higher quality of service," the bank pledged.
The bank added that starting Monday, March 19, it has launched a long-term campaign during which the bank will update its advertising and information materials, issue plastic cards of a new design that will be valid together with cards of the previous design until they are fully replaced.
Based on Banki.ru data, as of February 1, 2012 the banks net assets totaled Rub 4.72 bln (365th in Russia), capital (calculated in line with CBR requirements) amounted to Rub 950 mln, the credit portfolio amounted to Rub 2.30 bln and obligations to households equaled Rub 1.53 bln.
