The board of directors at International Bank of Saint Petersburg has appointed Maxim Zdor new chairman of the management board, the lending institution said in a press release.
Andrey Kostin, who is to leave this position, will continue to cooperate with the banks major shareholder Sergey Bazhanov as a partner for inter-bank projects in Moscow.
Maxim Zdor was born in the settlement of Bolshoye Nagatkino, the Tsilninsky district of the Ulyanovsk region, in 1976. He is a graduate of the Institute of Economics and Business of the Ulyanovsk State University. In 1998 he started his career as a specialist of the credit department at JSCB Stabek and became the departments head in 2000. From 2001 through 2006 he was employed at the BIN-Ulyanovsk branch where he was appointed head of the credit department in 2002. In 2006—2009 he acted as a deputy director of B&N Banks Ulyanovsk branch. From June 2009 until now he held office as director of the Ulyanovsk branch of International Bank of Saint Petersburg.
IBSP is a private bank focused on lending and providing services to large commercial businesses in the North-West and Moscow regions of Russia, and currency operations. The banks beneficial owner is Sergey Bazhanov, Federation Council member from the Ulyanovsk region and the banks former president (98.82%, most shares were assigned to Elektron LLC on trust terms).
As Banki.ru data show, as of June 1, 2012 the banks net assets totaled Rub 49.42 bln (No. 84 in Russia), capital (calculated in line with CBR requirements) amounted to Rub 6.48 bln, the credit portfolio came to Rub 29.04 bln and obligations to households equaled Rub 7.06 bln.
