RENFINs latest acquisition is a 25 stake in KAMABANK, Perm. Bought for R260 million, it will soon be diluted to 12%. KAMABANKs shareholding in the framework of privatization was sold by the administration of the Perm Territory, which was bought in RENFIN interests by CENTREINVEST SECURITIES. KAMABANKs major shareholders are Andrei Shishkin, Dmitry Levitin and Oleg Olefirenko (21.74%). According to INTERFAX CEA data on July 1, KAMABANK ranked 266th by assets (R4 billion) and 252nd by capital (R681m); profit totalled R39.4m (281st). KAMABANKs main focus is on retail, it posts growth of 70 to 200% in various indices and is among top three banks in the region.
