LENTA.RU The former speaker of the State Duma of the third and forth convocations Gennady Seleznev became the chairman of board of the directors in the commercial bank «Republican». According to his words, he had agreed to hold this post and «the decision had taken place». From now he has started to perform his duties.
Seleznev was the chairman of the State Duma of the second and third convocations (1996—2003), the deputy of the State Duma of the first convocation. Till September 2007 he was the chairman of the Russian Party «Revival». AKB «Republican» has been working on the Russian market scince 1995. The registed statutory capital of the bank makes more than 395 billion roubles.
