Intercommerz posts 35% profit growth

According to the H108 financial statement, Intercommerz’ pre-tax profit surged 35% y-o-y, including a 3% increase in Q2, the lending institution said in a press release.

In April-June 2008, the lender achieved a y-o-y leap of over 50% in assets, including a 43% upsurge compared to Q1. Balances on client accounts also soared more than 47% and over 42% vs. January-March 2008.

According to the data from news agency Banki.ru and Interfax-CEA, net assets of Intercommerz equal Rub 6.15 bln (231st place in Russia). The lending institution is a member of the national deposit insurance system.
