The subsidiary of Dutch lender Rabobank obtained a CBR license, the Russian central bank said in a press release posted on its official website.
The license for dealing with rubles and currencies without the right to take private deposits was provided to Rabobank on December 24, 2008.
At present, the bank is not a member of the national deposit insurance system. The lending institution’s authorized charter capital is Rub 1.3 bln.
Rabobank, a cooperative bank in the Netherlands, has been operative since 1898 and specializes in offering services to agricultural businesses. Mainly, its clients are agricultural and processing enterprises. In recent years the bank conducted business in Moscow through its representative office.
