Zapsibcombank earns Rub 68 mln <nobr>pre-tax</nobr> profit in January

In January 2009 Zapsibcombank’s pre-tax profit amounted to Rub 68.1 mln, the lending institution’s press service reported. As of February 1, 2009 the lender’s assets stood at Rub 81 bln (this indicator was Rub 17.6 bln lower on February 1, 2008). The bank’s equity capital totaled Rub 5.75 bln or 29.3% more than a year ago.

The press release also said that working assets jumped to Rub 43 bln against the year-earlier period, the credit portfolio came to Rub 36.78 bln and clients’ funds totaled Rub 38.5 bln, with Rub 15.3 bln falling to private deposits. The lending institution’s charter capital is equal to Rub 682 mln.

According to the data from Banki.ru and news agency Interfax-CEA, as of July 1, 2008 net assets of West Siberian Commercial Bank stood at Rub 47.37 bln (61st place in Russia). The lending institution is a member of the national deposit insurance system.
