International rating agency Standard & Poor's has put Bank Globex's long-term foreign currency and local currency credit ratings on Rating Watch Negative (RWN), S&P said in a press release.
Analysts also added the bank's long-term national scale rating of ruAA-to the list for a possible downgrade.
According to the experts, this relates to the fact that S&P is not confident about the bank's further support by VEB because of the financial institution's potentially possible sale. S&P thinks that Bank Globex's creditworthiness may deteriorate if announced injections into its capital are not carried out.
