Commercial Bank Pyatigorsk (registration # 589) has been renamed in Welcomebank, the Bank of Russia said in a statement. The lending institution’s head office is based in the city of Pyatigorsk, Stavropol region. Welcomebank has two branches in Moscow and Perm, as well as three additional sales offices. The lender’s charter capital equals Rub 55.70 mln.
On March 31, 2009 Welcomebank obtained a license to carry out banking operations in Russian rubles and foreign currencies (without the right to attract household deposits) and also a license to take deposits from households in rubles and foreign currencies. The bank is a member of the national deposit insurance system.
According to the data from Banki.ru and news agency Interfax-CEA, as of January 1, 2009 Bank Pyatigorsk ranked 867th among Russian banks in terms of net assets (Rub 322.38 mln) and was in 650th place in terms of household deposits (Rub 116.21 mln).
