As of April 21, 2017 Russia's narrow money stood at Rub 8,961.4 bln, the Bank of Russia said in an updated summary.
The indicator stood at Rub 8,962.5 bln as of April 14, 2017, i.e. down Rub 1.1 bln w-o-w.
Narrow money includes cash put by the Bank of Russia into circulation (including cash balances at lending institutions) and balances held on accounts of required reserves that banks deposit at the Bank of Russia against funds borrowed by lending institutions in the national currency.
