International rating agency Fitch Ratings assigned to Russia’s Santander Consumer Bank a long-term issuer default rating of A-, with a negative outlook, the banks press service reported. The lending institution is a subsidiary of Santander Consumer Finance S. A. that runs 19 financial divisions worldwide.
The lending institutions rating was influenced by the fact that if required its parent structures will be able to provide financial support. The negative outlook is connected with a relevant outlook of Russias sovereign rating.
According to the data from news agency Banki.ru and Interfax-CEA, net assets of Santander Consumer Bank stand at Rub 5.62 bln (256th place in Russia). The lending institution is a member of the national deposit insurance system.
