The board of directors at Rosenergobank decided to terminate the powers and authority of the bank's management board chairman Mark Schreiber as of December 5, the lending institution said in a press release.
The press release specified that Mark Schreiber applied for a transfer to the position of an advisor to the bank's management board chairman.
Deputy management board chairman Vitaly Sukhov was appointed as acting management board chairman, and he was said to submit all relevant documents to the Chief Territorial Directorate of the Central Bank of Russia in the Central Federal District.
For the record, Mark Schreiber was born in Moscow in 1977. He is a graduate of the Financial Academy attached to the Moscow government. From 2000 through 2003 he served as head of customer business department at Alfa Bank, head of a division and head of Alfa-Bank-Express. Later, he was employed at BSGV, X5 RETAIL Group, and Volkswagen Financial Services Rus. In 2009-2010, he acted as head of regional development at OTP Bank. Since 2010 he consistently held positions of deputy management board chairman and first deputy management board chairman at Rosenergobank. He was named the bank's management board chairman on February 1, 2016.
