Ellips Bank bumps up balance sheet profit 70.2%

PRIME-TASS. Nizhny Novgorod-based Ellips Bank managed to boost its pre-tax profit by 70.2% y-o-y to Rub 49.36 mln, the bank said in a statement.

Over the year grand total jumped 28.8% to Rub 4.25 bln, equity capital climbed 21% to Rub 517.39 mln and cash attracted from households grew 31.1% to Rub 3.95 bln as of January 1, 2009. Meanwhile, the credit portfolio expanded 29.3% to Rub 4.22 bln.
