The Russian Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) has listed the European Trust Bank among credit institutions sticking to Information Disclosure Standard Recommendations when granting consumer credits. In conjunctions with the Central Bank of Russia, the FAS issued those Recommendations in 2005. As of May 2006, 42 credit organisations complied with them fully or partially. The Recommendations aim to promote higher bank transparency, to give a fuller picture of credit organisations services and nurture trust in them among the public.
