In 2006, partner banks opened over 800 new points of Bystraya Pochta express money transfer service, which is developed by IMPEXBANK, the banks press service has reported. Consequently, the overall number of express money transfer points rose to 1,838 offices in member countries, as of January 1, 2007. Fifty-two financial institutions began to use the service last year. As of the start of 2007, the overall number of partner banks has stood at 119, of which 55 are in Russia, 17 — Azerbaijan, 14 — Moldova (including Trans-Dniester), 7 — Tajikistan, 6 — Uzbekistan, 6 — Ukraine, 5 — Armenia and outlets in banks in Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
