Banks owned by Senator Gleb Fetisov will get a new name, MY BANK. The decision aims to simplify expansion at the retail market, which top managers believe will make the group one of the top 50 Russian banks. Fetisov controls the Moscow bank GUBERNSKY, SIBIRSKOYE SOGLASIE in Novosibirsk and BASHECONOMBANK in Ufa. According to INTERFAX CEA, GUBERNSKY was 227th with R4.6b assets, as of January 1, SIBIRSKOYE SOGLASIE — 625th with R805.9m, BASHECONOMBANK — 467th with R1.5bn.
