Dmitri Leus, board chairman at Bank Zapadny and the banks beneficial owner not long ago, pulled out of the bank on August 23, 2012.
Documents posted on the banks website run that Leuss equity stake in the banks capital was gradually reduced as in early July he held 58.27% of the banks shares and his holding was cut to zero by August 23, 2012.
Currently, in line with information disclosed by the bank, its shareholding structure looks as follows: Nikolai Karpenko and Alexei Shmatok (19.81% each), NPLL Tekton-Ch LLC (13.48%, the beneficial owners, on a parity basis, are Irina Martynova and Dmitri Fedorov), Mikhail Kagan (12.82%), Firma Magistral Ltd. LLC (10.27%, the beneficial owners, on a parity basis, are Sergei Milentiev and Oksana Denisova), Voskresenie LLC (8.76%, the beneficial owners, on a parity basis, are Olga Belousova and Vladimir Zhdanov), Evgeny Karasev (5.83%), Liga-1 LLC (5.72%, the beneficial owner is Vitaly Ryzhov) and Liya Kupchina (3.50%).
Prime-TASS reported on Thursday that Dmitri Leuss stake in Bank Zapadny was cut to 5.8%.
Dmitri Leus is still the banks board chairman and also general director at Firma Magistral Ltd. LLC, the banks shareholder.
Bank Zapadny is a privately-held Moscow-based lender specialized in securities operations, retail lending and retail deposits.
As Banki.ru data show, as of August 1, 2012 the lending institutions net assets totaled Rub 12.94 bln (No. 218 in Russia), capital (calculated in line with CBR requirements) came to Rub 1.49 bln, the credit portfolio totaled Rub 4.36 bln and obligations to households equaled Rub 9.06 bln.
