Orskindustriabank, based in the Orenburg region, has been renamed Bank Aksent, the bank reported on Tuesday specifying a decision to rename the bank was adopted by the annual shareholders meeting held on April 28, 2012.
Relevant changes have already been made on CBRs website, and the banks general banking license was renewed on August 17.
Vadim Tikhonov, senior specialist of Banki.rus analytical department, thinks that the renaming most likely relates to the change of the banks major shareholder at the end of 2011.
Instead of Vladimir Pilyugin, the general director at OJSC Orsknefteorgsintez (until recently the company was part of holding Russneft), now the banks beneficial owner is Andrei Epifanov, deputy general director at International Potash Company," the analyst noted.
“The companys goals set for 2012 are to raise the charter capital to Rub 316 mln by means of profit reinvestment and the shareholders additional contributions, and also to bump up the credit portfolio by 60%. In 2012 the bank already increased the charter capital by Rub 100 mln (to Rub 202 mln), turned two branches into additional offices, opened a branch in Moscow instead of a representative office, and also an operating office in Nizhny Novgorod," said Banki.rus expert.
As Banki.ru data show, as of August 1, 2012 the lending institutions net assets totaled Rub 750 mln (No. 767 in Russia), capital (calculated in line with CBR requirements) came to Rub 250 mln, the credit portfolio totaled Rub 410 mln and obligations to households equaled Rub 280 mln.
