RAIFFEISEN INTERNATIONAL BANK HOLDING AG has finalized the legal merger between RAIFFEISENBANK AUSTRIA and IMPEXBANK. On November 23, 2007, the changed name of the bank was recorded in the single state register of legal entities. On completion of legal process of merger of IMPEXBANK and RAIFFEISENBANK AUSTRIA, all branches and offices of the consolidated bank will operate under the name RAIFFEISENBANK. As of the end of 3Q2007, the aggregate assets of the consolidated bank has totalled R393.9 billion, net profit — R10.3b, overall capital — R48.9b. Deposits of both banks at the end of 3Q2007 equalled R247.2b, with private clients accounting for over R66b. The lending portfolio by the banks exceeded R296.7b. Corporate lending (except interbank credits) equalled R203.4b, retail lending — R60b.
