In the first quarter of 2008 Fia-Bank’s net assets surged 46% y-o-y to over Rub 11.4 bln. The lending institution’s equity capital reached Rub 1,148,917, leaping 34% against January-March 2007, while pre-tax profit amounted to Rub 53.7 mn as of April 1, 2008. Balances on corporate and private accounts came to Rub 9,162 mln in January-March 2008 compared to Rub 6,503 mln in Q107.
According to the data from news agency Banki.ru and Interfax-CEA, Fia-Bank’s net assets came to Rub 10.40 bln (158th place in Russia). The bank is a member of the national deposit insurance system.
