Pripolyarny&#146;s H108 <nobr>pre-tax</nobr> profit increases 17%

PRIME-TASS. Pre-tax profit earned by joint stock commercial bank Pripolyarny, headquartered in the settlement of Urengoi (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District) reached Rub 3.95 mln in January-June 2008 against Rub 3.37 mln a year earlier.

As of July 1, 2008 the bank’s assets equaled Rub 643.27 mln vs. Rub 457.10 mln as of July 1, 2007, while equity amounted to Rub 285.16 mln (Rub 276.54 mln).

Funds of non-banking clients reached Rub 350.68 mln as of July 1, 2008 and private deposits came to Rub 259.88 mln.
