Polina Merkulova has been appointed vice president of SMP Bank, the lending institution's press service reported.
As the bank specified, she will be responsible for all legal processes at the bank.
Polina Merkulova graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Law majoring in law. Her legal career began in 1997 at the Ministry of Anti-Monopoly Policy and Entrepreneurial Support, and from July 2003 through June 2009 she served as metal giant Mechel as the head of stockholder capital department.
From June 2009 till December 2012 Merkulova was employed at Rosselkhozbank, at which she also ran the bank's legal support division of the legal department. At the end of 2012 she was appointed head of corporate legal support at SMP Bank, and became a board member at Mosoblbank in 2015.
