RIA NOVOSTI. The Federal Anti-Trust Service (FAS) (ФАС) gave authorization to German lending institution Commerzbank to acquire 100% of a Russian subsidiary of another German bank (Dresdner Bank), the authority said in a press release.
Last autumn Commerzbank, No. 2 lender in Germany, announced the acquisition of Dresdner Bank, third largest bank in Germany and its rival.
