Agrocredbank changed the location of its headquarters, moving from Cherepovets to Saint Petersburg (39 D, Radishchev St.). As the lending institution’s deputy management board chairman Lyudmila Ponidelko told Banki.ru, the relocation was driven by changes in the shareholding structure: nearly 100% of the banks securities are currently owned by individuals from Saint Petersburg. These individuals also include Bank Tavricheskys founding members.
The lender is to officially launch its Saint Petersburg office in May. Also in May Agrocredbanks branch, opened on the basis of the former head office, is to commence operations in Cherepovets. As Ponidelko pointed out, the bank has no plans to discontinue business in the Vologda region and, on the contrary, it intends to maintain and roll out activities in this region.
Also Agrocredbank is to change its management board chairman, with Lyudmila Ponidelko replacing Lyubov Morozova in this capacity. Her candidature has already been agreed upon with CBR. As for Morozova, shell be running the Cherepovets branch.
According to the data from Banki.ru and news agency Interfax-CEA, as of January 1, 2009 net assets of Agrocredbank totaled Rub 306.4 mln (877th place in Russia). The lending institution is a member of the national deposit insurance system.
